Ongoing Practices
In this monthly practice, you’ll get to experience mindfulness based practices and meditations for getting still and going inward. This may sound simple, but the human mind is great at distracting and wanting to focus on all things outside of us.
That’s why I’m excited to guide you and create an opportunity to practice in a community. Whether you are coming to experience calm and stress relief, or are looking forward to the benefits of connecting to your True Self and liberating insights, this is for you.
In this monthly practice, we’ll use mindfulness based strategies, meditation practices, mantras and more for connecting to and fostering our most caring relationship with our Self.
Maitri is a word for being friends with ourself, or self-compassion. As most of us learned to have a pretty harsh relationship with ourself (like just being used to those pesky and painful self-critical thoughts), learning a different relationship with ourself is a journey. It starts exactly where you are, but the destination (and transformation) possibilities are endless!
Join me every month to practice with me. It truly is a practice! And if we really want what’s on the other side (feeling more calm and balanced, resilient in any stressful situation, better relationships with everyone around us, etc) then we need to keep showing up. Just like any other relationship in your life, it only gets deeper by continuing to truly and intentionally show up.
This class utilizes the ancient tools of Tantra and will include using mantra, visualization, bandhas (energy locks), asana (poses), and nervous system organization. With a combination of dynamic poses (connecting breath and movement) and holding poses, you can expect building some heat while we connect the mind, body, and energy. The aim of this practice is to clear out what doesn’t serve us so we can expand our consciousness and live more and more from the flow of our best selves.
All levels are welcome. Some experience is recommended.

Come on in, pull an oracle card, and join in meditation, circle (optional sharing), and ceremony (possibly including mantra, visualization, intention setting, oils, breathwork, other practices). You can expect a blend of light-hearted fun and deep honoring as we use this time for grounding and lifting. Walk away feeling connected to yourself and others, replenished and elevated so you can keep being a light in the world.

Replenish your energetic resources with some uplifting energy restoring movement, a mini ceremony for releasing the week, and a fun intention setting activity to fill your heart and your cup (literally and figuratively)!
